New Plans for the Golf Course with New Development
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has rented 71 hectares of public land next to the Zonguldakılar Holiday Estate, on the way to Akbük, to the İstanbul and commerce for the 49 years for an 18-hole golf course and a holiday village of 420 bed capacity.
Milas representative of the company, Cartography Engineer Turgay Kınacı said the the construction was planned to start next year and will be finished in 2012.The Ministry had Didim was declared a Tourism City in 2003 by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The Ministry had announced that Didim was planned to be developed as a Marina City and public domains to be rented to big investors for Golf Courses, accommodation facilities, Theme Parks and activity areas for Ecological Tourism.
The first leg of the Project Tourism City Didim started with the construction of the Marina, in February 2007.
D- Marina, will start operating this May 2009.
With a view to having Golf Courses and accommodation facilities to support the Marina in January 2007 the Ministry of Culture and Tourism put out to tender 71 hectares of public land at Zonguldakılar and 150 hectares of public domain next to Denizköy to be rented for 49 years.
Three companies competed in the tender, with Atlas winning the tender at Zonguldakılar site.
Kınacı said, the ground plan application of the area is complete. Now the plans for The Golf Course and the Holiday Village will be drawn up. The construction is planned to start within a year. |
